FreedomRUST.hicz.net is a non-profit collective that provides free vanilla Rust servers to the Rust gaming community. Our goal is to make Rust servers accessible without paywalls or subscriptions using our underutilized compute resources.
Mission
- Provide free, high-quality Rust servers.

Operations
- Approximately 30% of our compute are unused at any time.
- Idle resources are used to host Rust servers at minimal additional cost.
- Access to servers is managed via a waiting list to maintain fairness.
- Upon approval from the waiting list, we provide you a Rust vanilla server for 1 month with 2 CPU cores, 8 GB RAM, uncapped storage and bandwidth. After the allotted time, the server is decommissioned and the resources are freed up for the next user. You may request to download your data within the allotted time before it is permanently deleted.
